2010: 12 appearances in 2010...second on the team in ERA at 0.75...in 12.0 innings Ortman had eight strikeouts and just one earned run...opponents hit .229 against him...pitched an inning in relief during The Sun Conference Tournament Championship against St. Thomas (May 12) where he did not allow a base-runner.

2009: Made 14 appearances…struck out 17 in 19.1 innings of work…finished with a 1-0 record and a 1.40 earned run average…opponents hit just .218 against him…registered a season-high four strikeouts in 2.1 innings of relief against St. Xavier (Mar. 3)…came out of the bullpen to hold the Northwood Seahawks scoreless through three innings, striking out two en route to his only win of the year (Mar. 28).
