Biography

Guilliams Comments: "Derrick probably has the best work ethic on our team. He was an All-Conference guy last year and I think he has the ability to be an All-American type player. He's a lot smarter player and I think he understands what's expected of him. He can hit the ball to all fields and will most likely hit in the top of the batting order or somewhere in the middle where he'll be able to drive runs in. His leadership and vision are critical components for the 2006 squad to reach its goals."
