Biography

As a Junior in 2006: Appeared in 62 games with 53 starts...hit .310 with seven doubles and 26 RBI...stole eight bases and committed just seven errors for a .965 fielding percentage.

At Indian River Community College: Played two seasons for coach Mike Easom and led the Pioneers in hitting with a .367 (39-for-106) batting average with 21 runs, four doubles and 19 RBI in 2005.

High School: Graduated from Atlantic Community High School (West Palm Beach, Fla.) in 2003 where he earned four letters in baseball.

Personal: Born July 31, 1985 in West Palm Beach, Florida...son of Juan and Helen Ferreiro...majoring in Aviation Business Administration.
