2024-25 (Junior): Named to the Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll…earned the D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award…participated in three tournaments for a total of eight rounds…helped the Eagles break the team single-season stroke record (294.35)…posted a season-best performance (T-44th) at the World Golf Village Collegiate (Feb. 24-25) with a two-round score of 155.
2023-24 (Sophomore): Received the Division 2 Athletics Directors Association Academic Achievement Award…earned a spot on the Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll…competed in three tournaments and nine rounds…aided the Blue and Gold to the program’s second-best season scoring average (295.38)…started the year strong with a personal-best 222 at the season-opening Jay Jennison Cup…also recorded a career-low 69 in the competition…helped the Eagles set a record for the lowest round score in program history (277) and the second-lowest 54-hole score (858) at that same event.

2022-23 (Freshman): Named to the Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll…competed in six tournaments for the Blue and Gold…was the highest finisher on the team in his first-ever collegiate tournament at the Matlock Invitational (Feb. 6-7) where he placed tied for 26th…notched a season-low round (70) and 54-hole score (225) at the Saint Leo Invitational (Feb. 20-21)…helped the Eagles win their first tournament in eight years at the Daytona Beach Spring Invitational (March 6-7)…assisted the Eagles in breaking the team 54-hole score program record with a 226 at the SSC Tournament (Apr. 23-25)…also aided his squad in recording the lowest single-season team scoring average in program history (294.7).

National: Finished fourth at the 2022 European Amateur Team Championship Division 2 with the Bulgarian National Team…achieved a third-place result for the Bulgarian National Team at the 2021 European Men’s Team Shield.

Personal: Born in Sofia, Bulgaria…son of Niya and Mariyan Abrashev…majoring in Aviation Business Administration…desires to become an airline captain…volunteered at the AGAPI animal shelter in Thessaloniki, Greece as well as Hope Spot, a human trafficking and domestic violence organization…assisted in raising funds for Red Cross Greece…participated in the Anatolia College 3K Annual Charity Run along with the 2019 American University of Bulgaria Charity Golf Tournament.
