2023-24 (Junior): Earned the D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award…named to the SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll…competed in a personal-best five tournaments and 15 rounds…helped the Eagles earn the second-lowest season stroke average in program history (295.38)…posted the lowest score on the team at the NSU Shark Invitational (222)…shot a collegiate-low 70 in the second round of the Battle at the Shores…contributed to the team’s top-10 program marks in single-round score (284, T-8th) and 54-hole score (867, 4th) at the SSC Championship.

2022-23 (Sophomore): Included on the Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll…competed at the McDonough Cup (Oct. 31-Nov. 1)…led the team to its third-lowest 54-hole score ever with a career-best 216 en route to his first-career top-10 finish (T-9th)… aided his squad in recording the lowest single-season team scoring average in program history (294.7).

2021-22 (Freshman): Received the Division 2 Athletic directors Association Academic Achievement Award…named to the Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll…competed in six rounds over two tournaments…notched a 76.7 stroke average…earned his best result of T-56th at the McDonough Cup (Nov. 1-2) with a 229 (79-72-78)…helped the Eagles record the lowest season stroke average in program history (299.1).

Prep: 2021 graduate of Clear Creek High School…NASA HUNCH Finalist honorable mention…golf co-captain during senior season…four-time district qualifier…received first team All-District honors in 2021…qualified for the Texas 6A State Championship in 2021 and 2019…selected to the Houston Area Golf Coaches Association Boys All-Area and All-State second team in 2020…received second team All-District honors in 2018 and 2019 as well as first team all-region in 2019…compiled a stroke average of 75.8 as a senior…Clear Creek football team’s starting quarterback from 2018 to 2019.
 
Personal: Born In Houston, Texas…son of James and Valerie Salazar…majoring in Aerospace Engineering…desires to work in the space industry…Dedicated time as a volunteer at the Hurricane Harvey Emergency Distribution Center and Hurricane Harvey Communal Home Restoration.
