2024-25 (Graduate): Named to the Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll…received the D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award…competed in two events…averaged 76.5 strokes…concluded his collegiate career with the seventh-lowest average (75.40) in program history…helped the Eagles record the lowest season stroke average in the history of the program (294.35)…contributed to ERAU’s T-2nd result at the SSC Championship (April 13-15), which was the program’s best-ever finish at the SSC Tournament and T-7th lowest 54-hole score…played a role in assisting the program to its first NCAA II regional appearance (May 8-10).
2023-24 (Senior): Earned the D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award…included on the Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll…competed in four tournaments and 12 rounds…aided the Eagles to the second-lowest season stroke average in the history of the program (295.38)…grabbed a top-20 result (T-16th) at the Citrus Intercollegiate with a 218…helped the team secure the fifth-best single-round score (281) in program history at that same tournament…led the team at the Saint Leo Invitational with a 220…also assisted in the eighth-lowest round team score (284) and fourth-best 54-hole team score (867) at the SSC Championship.
2022-23 (Junior): Received D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award...Included on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team…earned a spot on the Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll…had a breakout season, recording one top-10 and four top-20 results…recorded the program’s third-lowest season stroke average ever (73.8) over eight tournaments…earned the second-highest win percentage on the squad, defeating 57 percent of his competitors…started the season with a 218 (T-9th) at the Jay Jennison Cup (Sept. 26-27)…continued his strong play at the Shark Invitational (Oct. 3-4) by shooting a career-best 214 to tie for 13th…used a 222 (T-28th) to help the Eagles win their first tournament in eight years at the Daytona Beach Spring Invitational (March 6-7)…was the top finisher on the squad at the Battle at the Shores (Apr. 3-4) with another 214 (T-16th) stroke total…assisted the Eagles in breaking the team 54-hole score program record with a second-straight score of 214 (T-18th) at the SSC Tournament (Apr. 23-25)…also aided his squad in recording the lowest single-season team scoring average in program history (294.7).
2021-22 (Sophomore): Received the Division 2 Athletic directors Association Academic Achievement Award…named to the Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll…participated in 18 rounds over six tournaments in his first season as an Eagle…recorded a 76.8 stroke average…saw his season-best 54-hole score of 224 (75-76-73) occur at the McDonough Cup (Nov. 1-2)…earned his best finish of the year (T-33rd) at the Panther Invitational (Mar. 6-8)…helped the Eagles finish with a program-record season stroke average of 299.1.
Prep: 2020 graduate of Heritage High School…selected to 2019 and 2020 All-Loudoun County team…tied for second at the district tournament, finished third at regionals, and grabbed a top-10 placement at the state tournament.
Personal: Born in Reston, Virginia…son of Melanie and Robert Steven Faringer…majoring in Aeronautical Science…desires to be an airline pilot…volunteered as a junior golf camp counselor.
