• 2025 SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll
 
2024-25 (Sophomore): Named to the SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll…started all nine events…gathered one top-10s and three top-20 finishes…recorded a season stroke average of 74.6…posted six rounds under par…helped the Eagles break the team single-season stroke record (294.35)…paced ERAU at the Jay Jennison Cup (Sept. 23-24) with a team-best score of 221 to tie for 12th…aided the Eagles in breaking team single-round (260) and three-round (837) program records at the Shark Invitational (Oct. 7-8)…it was also the program’s first-ever tournament win outside the Daytona Beach area…recorded career bests in single (67) and three-round (211) scores at the Matlock Collegiate Classic (Feb. 10-11), which ranked T-8th and T-9th on the program’s all-time list…played a role in assisting the program to its first NCAA II regional appearance (May 8-10).

2023-24 (Freshman): Competed in three tournaments and nine rounds…helped the Eagles record the second-best two season stroke average (295.38)…saved his best performance for the SSC Tournament with back-to-back sub-70 rounds and a 212 54-hole total, which tied for the 10th-best three-round score in the history of the program…also aided ERAU to the eighth-best single-round score (284) and the fourth-lowest 54-hole total (867) at that same event.

Prep: Captain of the Nease High School golf team during senior season…averaged 74.3 strokes per round…has a personal best 18-hole score of 68…also possessed a two-round low score of 143.  
 
Personal: Born in Naples, Florida…parents are Sean and Kelly Gear…father Sean competed for ERAU men’s golf from 1993-95…majoring in Human Factors…desires to design high performance vehicles.
