Biography
2024-25 (Junior): Grabbed gold in JV eights and silver in JV fours at the FIRA Championships (March 29) to aid the Eagles in capturing a second-straight state title.
2023-24 (Sophomore): Competed in 16 races as a sophomore up from seven as a freshman...helped the Eights (12:17.75) to a 15th place finish out of 44 boats at the Head of the Schuylkill (Oct. 28)...took one win each at Jacksonville (Nov. 11) and at Rollins (March 2)...earned a silver medal at FIRA Championships (March 30) with tthe Eights (6:10.39)...picked up a bronze at the Knecht Cup (April 14) with the Eights (6:08.53)...earned a first place finish at the Dad Vail Regatta (May 11) in the Eights (6:28.033)
2022-23 (Freshman): Competed in seven races for the Eagles…captured a win in Eights (5:58.3) at Rollins (Mar. 4).
Prep: 2022 graduate of May River High School…member of the DECA Club, National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society, National BETA Club, Jr. Interact Club, and BeachBotics 1876…received the HHI Mayor’s Award…six-year letterwinner in swimming…reached the state championships from 2019 through 2021…
Personal: Born in Bluffton, South Carolina…parents are Jennifer and Magnus Weitekamper…majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
