Biography

2022-23 (Graduate): Competed in three races for the Eagles…kicked off the spring by downing Rollins (Mar. 4) in a dual in Fours (7:16.9).

2021-22 (Senior): Bested numerous NCAA I boats to finish sixth (17:12.294) in Collegiate Fours at the Head of the Charles (Oct. 24)…grabbed a third-place finish (15:54.8) in Championship 4+ and fourth-place result (14:50.3) in Championship 8+ at the Head of the South (Nov. 13)… claimed two wins at the Tars Regatta (March 5), one in Varsity 4 “B” (7:35.0) and the other in Varsity 8 (6:10.8)…finished runner-up in both Varsity 4 (6:55.2) and Varsity 8 (6:06.8) against Stetson (March 11)…picked up two more second-place results at Florida Tech (March 19) in Varsity 4 (7:18.8) and Varsity 8 (6:29.5)…stopped the clock at 7:46.975 in Varsity 2 at the SIRA Championships (April 16) to win bronze.

2020-21 (Junior): Recorded a second-place result (6:38.32) in the second “B” Varsity Eight race at the Stetson Invitational (April 10)…also nabbed a fourth-place finish (8:02.86) in the “B” boat in Varsity Four.

2019-20 (Junior): Utilized redshirt.

2018-19 (Sophomore): Won the Lightweight 4+ race in 15:42.705 at the Head of the Hooch (Nov. 3)...finished second in the Pairs Championship at the Head of the South with a time of 17:32.4 (Nov. 10).

2017-18 (Freshman): Defeated Rollins in the Varsity Four “B” race at the TARS Regatta with a time of 6:40.7, more than a full minute ahead of the Tars (March 14)…won a state title in the Lightweight 4+ boat with a time of 7:15.20 (April 7)…finished 11th in the JV 8+ boat with a time of 5:45.027 at the SIRA Championships (April 21).
 
Prep: Graduated from Bishop Moore Catholic High School in 2017.

Personal: Born in Orlando, Florida…son of Susan and Gordon Horn…majoring in Computer Engineering…recipient of Antonio Babic Sportsmanship Award.
