Biography

2024-25 (Junior): Took silver in varsity eights and bronze in varsity fours at the FIRA Championships (March 29) to aid the Eagles in capturing a second-straight state title.

2023-24 (Sophomore): Competed in a team-best 17 races, winning three medals along the way...placed fifth with the Varsity Fours at Head of the Charles (Oct. 22), finishing ahead of 19 D1 programs...helped the Varsity Eights to a 15th place finish (out of 44) at the Head of the Schuylkill (Oct. 28)...won a dual at Rollins with the Eights...won a silver at FIRA Championships with the Varsity Eights (6:10.39) and with the Varsity Pair (7:06.35)...JV Fours victory at FIRA Championships (6:45.48)...fourth place at the Knecht Cup with the Varsity Eights (6:06.57)...won the Varsity Eights third final at Dad Vail Regatta (May 11) (6:21.560).

2022-23 (Freshman): Competed in nine races for the Eagles…earned a two wins and a silver medal…kicked off the spring by downing Rollins (Mar. 4) in a dual in Eights (5:58.3)…received a silver medal in Fours (6:39.07) at the FIRA Championships (Apr. 1)…placed fourth (6:36.911) out of 27 boats in Fours at the Dad Vail Regatta (May 12).

Prep: 2022 graduate of Covington Latin School…placed in the top 10 at the 2021 U.S. Rowing Youth Nationals…finished second in the Midwest in Varsity 8.
 
Personal: Born in Fort Thomas, Kentucky…parents are Karey and Aaron Linkugel…majoring in Aerospace Engineering…desires to be an aircraft mechanic…volunteered as a kid’s rowing camp coach.
