Mattia Dabala is in his second season as the graduate assistant coach for the Embry-Riddle men's soccer team. He also coaches the under 11 team at Ormond Beach Soccer Club.

Originally from Venice, Italy, Dabala joined the Eagles in 2020 after spending two seasons with Valparaiso. During his time at Embry-Riddle, he played two years and 28 games as a midfielder.

Dabala graduated from Embry-Riddle in 2022 with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and he is pursuing a master’s degree in aviation finance. Dabala has received several accolades, including two Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll selections, a Division II Athletic Directors Association Academic Achievement Award, and a spot on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team.
