2022 (Sophomore): Competed in eight matches for 97 minutes…fired a shot on goal against Eckerd (Sept. 24).

2021 (Freshman): Named to the Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll…played in three games…notched 121 minutes of playing time…scored against Flagler (Sept. 7)…recorded a season-high 56 minutes of action versus Florida Southern (Oct. 27).

Prep: Graduated in 2021 from Winter Park High School...racked up 15 goals and 19 assists over three varsity seasons for the Wildcats...team captain as a senior...named an All-Area First Teamer as a senior by the Orlando Sentinel...selected to the Orange County All-Star Team...helped lead the Wildcats to three district titles and three regional final appearances...played for the Florida Kraze Krush for five seasons, scoring 40 goals and recording 37 assists.

Personal: Born in Orlando, Florida...son of Bob and Sherry Joyce...father Bob is the Director of Aviation Safety and Head Ice Hockey Coach at Embry-Riddle...Bob led the University of North Dakota to the 1987 NCAA Ice Hockey National Championship, leading the country with 52 goals...Bob also represented his home country on the Canadian National Team at the 1988 Olympic Games before embarking on a six-year career in the National Hockey League where he played for the Boston Bruins, Washington Capitals and Winnipeg Jets...Jake is majoring in Communications.
