As A Sophomore in 2012: CoSIDA Academic All-District first team selection… named to the ERAU Athletics President’s team, which recognizes student-athletes with a 3.5 or better GPA for the academic year…saw action in 14 contests, drawing five starts…totaled three points on a goal and an assist…his only goal of the season was against Florida Tech (Sept. 8)…registered an assist in a 4-1 win over Ave Maria (Oct. 6).
 
As A Freshman in 2011: Played in 14 matches with six starts…converted on one of his three shots against Webber International on Oct. 1, tallying his only points of the season on a goal.
 
Prep: 2011 graduate of Wellington High School…played high school soccer for coaches Michael Aronson and Chip Hagopian…totaled 40 goals and 36 assists in his high school career, including a 12-goal, 15-assist clip as a senior…named team MVP in both his junior and senior seasons…led his team in goals (18) as a junior and assists (15) as a senior…first team All-County selection in 2011…also played club soccer for Schulz Academy and Wellington SC…helped Schulz to consecutive semifinal appearances in the Super Y league championship and helped Wellington SC to the U-17 Super Y league final.
 
Personal: Born in Wroclaw, Poland on Nov. 19, 1992…son of Marek and Marta Balcerzak…majoring in Aerospace Engineering…earned two international caps playing with Poland’s U-19 national team…grandfather Marian Balcerzak played for the Polish national and was a member of the Slask Wroclaw team that won the Polish Premier League in 1976.
