Biography

Gregson’s Comments: “Mike had a brilliant season at left back last year. He was one of the best full backs in the country. We think we can use him further up the field as an attacking force and we think he’s going to have a lot of joy down the left wing for us. He brings pace and skill and an eye for goal to that position.”

As A Junior in 2010: Second team All-Conference selection…made the move from the Eagles’ back line to the midfield…started in 15 of the Eagles’ 16 games…totaled 26 points on nine goals and eight assists…third on the team in all three categories…registered a season-high nine points with four goals and an assist against Johnson and Wales (Oct. 23)…scored two goals, including the game-winner, against Florida Memorial (Oct. 6)…netted the Eagles’ first goal of the year, scoring in the fifth minute against Walsh (Sept. 13)…closed out that game with four points on the goal and two assists…also contributed two assists in each game against Ave Maria (Oct. 2) and Warner (Nov. 6).

As A Sophomore in 2009: An anchor of the left side of the Eagles’ defense, playing n 19 matches with 18 starts…second team All-Conference honoree…helped the Eagles to seven shutouts …took eight shots on the year…contributed five points to the Eagle offense on a goal and three assists…tallied three points in the Eagles’ win over Johnson and Wales with a goal and an assist (Sept. 8)…also registered assists against William Carey (Aug. 22) and Northwood (Oct. 13)...spent the summer playing for MPS Portland Phoenix in the PDL…recorded three goals and eight assists in 17 matches, helping the Phoenix to a second place finished in the PD Northeast Division…tabbed as the Coaches’ Player of the Year.

As A Freshman in 2008: One of only four players to appear in all 19 games…only freshman in the Eagles’ starting lineup… helped the Eagles record six shutouts…registered his first collegiate assist against Webber International (Oct. 18)…also had an assist against Northwood (Nov. 8)…named The Sun Conference Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 29 for his performance in the Eagles’ victories over Webber International (Sept. 24) and Warner (Sept. 28)…also a presence on the offensive end, as he took 16 shots on the year.

Prep: Graduated from Marr College in 2005...played six years for the Rangers organization.

Personal: Born in Cambridge, Scotland on Jan. 20, 1989…son of James and Catriona Donald…majoring in Business Administration.
