Biography

As A Freshman in 2008: Appeared in five matches…drew three starts…provided depth to the Eagles’ defense…earned his first collegiate start against top-ranked Lindsey Wilson (Oct. 25), where he played a full 90 minutes for the Blue and Gold…also started against St. Thomas (Oct. 28) and Flagler (Nov. 5)…Academic All-Conference.

Prep: Graduated from Evangelical Christian Academy in 2006...spent the majority of his prep career in Madrid, Spain...played club soccer for Vercruz from 2001-03 and Camarma from 2004-06.

Personal: Born in McAllen, Texas on May 13, 1988...parents are Edward and Joan Steffens...majoring in Engineering Physics with a minor in Mathematics…part of Embry-Riddle’s Honors Program and the Dean’s List of Scholars…member of Campus Outreach.
