Biography

Hecht earned a spot as a walk-on in the spring of 2002?has proven to be a solid goalkeeper? will provide stiff competition for playing time between the posts.

2003 (Sophomore): Saw 25 minutes of action in his only appearance between the posts against Webber International on Sept. 10.

2002 (Freshman): Provided depth to the goalkeeping position behind all-conference selection Eero Tuominen? recorded one save and allowed no goals in his only outing of the season against Webber International (Nov. 5).

Prep: ?2001 graduate of Cresskill High School?earned two letters under coach Francisco Zuniga?all-league honorable mention? state finalists?recorded 200 saves and 12 shutouts over his two-year career?also played for the Tenafly Tornadoes club team.

Personal: Born in Haifa, Israel on April 8, 1983?son of Avisha and Malka Hecht?chose Embry-Riddle for the flight program?majoring in Aeronautical Science.
