2016: Played in 11 games for the Eagles with seven starts…took three shots on goal for the Blue and Gold.

2015: Started all 14 games for the Eagles on the back line registering 1,052 minutes…recorded an assist in a 5-2 loss to Rollins (Oct. 28).

2014: Started all 12 matches he appeared in as a sophomore…scored two goals, both game-winners and tallied an assist in 1,109 minutes…registered the game-winning goal against Florida Memorial (Oct. 4) before adding an assist against the Lions…scored the game-winner against Webber International (Oct. 18)…part of a defense that had four shutouts and a 1.13 goals against average.

As a Freshman in 2013: One of eight Eagles to start in all 18 matches, playing in 1,629 minutes, the second-most on the squad…part of an Embry-Riddle defense that registered nine shutouts and just a 0.97 goals against average…recorded an assist in the Eagles’ 2-1 overtime win over SCAD Savannah (Oct. 23).

Prep: Graduated from Fjolbrautaskoli Sudurnesja in July 2013…played for the Keflavik and Njardvik club teams…captained Keflavik’s youth team for seven seasons…selected as the Most Improved Player in 2005…named the Youth Team Defender of the Year for the 2006 and 2008 seasons.
 
Personal: Born in Reykjavik, Iceland…son of Hafsteinn Valgardsson and Viktoria Marinusdottir…majoring in Human Factors Psychology.
