Biography

2015-16: CROSS COUNTRY: Competed in five events for the Eagles, finishing as the top ERAU runner each time…never finished worse than 18th in an event…compiled three top-five results…placed third at the UT Early Bird Classic with a four-mile time of 20:57.26 (Sept. 4)…posted a season-best time of 26:11.39 to finish 11th at the Mountain Dew Invitational (Sept. 19)…crossed the line second overall at the Moccasin Invitational in 27:03.10 (Sept. 25)…led the Eagles to a team victory with a fourth-place finish at the Asics ERAU Classic in 27:06.22 (Oct. 10). INDOOR: Ran in four meets, with six top-five finishes…finished third in the 5000m (15:40.63) at the Embry-Riddle Indoor/Outdoor Challenge (Jan. 23)…posted a 4:20.00 mile time at the KMS Invitational (Jan. 31) to place fourth overall…personal-best 8:47.83 in the 3000m came at the Embry-Riddle Last Chance (Feb. 20). OUTDOOR: Won the 1500m at the ERAU/West Virginia Wesleyan Dual (Feb. 20) with a time of 4:13.53…part of the 4x800m relay team that won the Florida DII Intercollegiate Invitational (April 16) in 8:00.25 before running a season-best 4:07.11 in the 1500m and placing 10th in the 800m in 2:02.28…best 800m time of 1:56.80 came at the UNF Spring Break Invitational (March 26).
 
2014-15: CROSS COUNTRY: Named Sun Conference Newcomer of the Year after finishing ninth at The Sun Conference Championships (Nov. 8) with a time of 26:39.94…ran a personal best 25:20.31 at the Charles Bowles Invitational (Oct. 4) to become the 11th fastest runner in ERAU history…was one of the Eagles top five finishers in four of the six meets in which he competed. OUTDOOR: Ran in four meets during the outdoor season…posted a pair of first-place finishes at the North Florida Twilight Meet (April 10), running a 15:04.25 in the 5,000m before a 4:01.27 in the 1,500m…season-best time of 3:53.50 in the 1,500m came at the UNF East Region Preview (May 8) where he finished second…competed in the 800m at the Embry-Riddle Spikes Classic (April 4), finishing fifth in 1:54.52.
 
2013-14: INDOOR: Ran the 4x800m relay at the NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships (Mar. 6) as the team posted a time of 7:47.77 for 12th place…finished third in the 1000m at the Embry-Riddle Last Chance (Feb. 22), posting a career-best time of 2:32.96…ran a career best 4:30.99 in the mile at the Samford Multi and Invitational (Feb. 7).  OUTDOOR: Part of the 4x800m relay squad that qualified for the NAIA Outdoor National Championships (May 22) where they finished in 7:42.14…All-Conference performer in the 1500m and 800m, finishing first (3:57.92) and third (1:56.53) respectively at The Sun Conference Championships (April 21), the former of which set a conference record.
 
PREP: Graduated from Spruce Creek High School in June 2012…ran track and cross country under coaches Stephon Gallon and Craig Jansen…personal bests include 16:07 in the 5K, 4:38 in the Mile, 1:58 in the 800m and 51.1 in the 400m…was team captain as a senior…team won the track conference meet his junior and senior year…earned Bright House Network Cross Country Runner of the Year accolades.
 
PERSONAL: Born in Port Orange, Florida…parents are Linda and Erik Lokensgard…majoring in Unmanned Aircraft Systems Science…chose Embry-Riddle to get a good education and to run under Assistant Coach Peter Hopfe.
