2022-23: Received D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award…Peach Belt Conference Team of Academic Distinction…Peach Belt Conference Presidential Honor Roll Gold Scholar. OUTDOOR: Came in first place in the 400 at the Embry-Riddle First Chance Last Chance (Feb 18)… Recorded a career-best 21.78 in the 200 meters at the Embry-Riddle Spike’s Classic and Multi College. INDOOR: Came in first place in the 4x400 with 3:22.39 at the RADD College Invitational (Jan 19-20).

2021-22: Peach Belt Conference Team of Academic Distinction…Peach Belt Conference Presidential Honor Roll Silver Scholar…INDOOR: Competed in four meets…ran his fastest 400m (49.77) of the indoor season at the BSC Indoor Icebreaker. OUTDOOR: competed in five meets…ran a career-best 49.51 in the finals of the 400m at the PBC Track & Field Championships (April 23)…won silver in the 200m (21.42) and helped the 4x400m relay team to second place at the PBC championships.

2021: OUTDOOR: Named to the Peach Belt Conference Presidential Honor Roll…a USTFCCCA All-Region selection in the 4x400m relay…competed in six meets…ran a personal best 21.99 to take fourth place in the 200m at the Spikes Classic…helped the 4x400m relay team to eight points and second place at the Peach Belt Conference Championships (May 1).

2019-20: INDOOR: Ran in six meets as a true freshman...posted a pair of season-bests at the South Carolina Invitational (Feb. 8) in the 200m (22.19) and 400m (49.89)...helped the 4x400m relay team to a first-place showing (3:20.61) at the Embry-Riddle Indoor-Outdoor Challenge (Jan. 25).

Prep: Graduated from Cuthbertson High School in June 2019….recorded personal bests of 10.8 in the 100m, 21.40 in the 200m and 34.14 in the 300m in his senior season…ran a personal best 47.58 in the 400m as a junior…high school All-American…two-time state champion…two-time regional MVP…named his high school MVP three times.
 
Personal: Born in Charlotte, North Carolina…parents are Bill and Deb Black…majoring in Aeronautical Science…volunteered with the Civil Air Patrol.
