2026: OUTDOOR: Competed in one meet... placed 4th in the javelin throw as the Embry-Riddle Eagle Invite (Mar. 7)

2025: OUTDOOR: Competed in seven meets... placed first in the javelin throw at the Embry Riddle Eagle Invite (Mar. 8)... second place finish at the Peach Belt Conference Championship (Apr. 28-29) in the javelin throw. 

2024: OUTDOOR: Competed in eight meets…at the Bob Hayes Spring Break Invitational (3/16/24), he earned second place in the javelin (56.61m)…recorded a personal best in the discuss of 35.07m and took silver place in the javelin at the Embry-Riddle Running Elements Classic (3/30/24)…at the Embry-Riddle Eagle Meet (4/9/24), he earned second in the javelin with a throw of 57.99m…at the Peach Belt Conference Track and Field he competed in the javelin and recorded a career-high of 62.27m earning himself the silver medal.

Prep: 2023 graduate of Northern Highlands Regional High School…coached by Tom Viscardi and Justin Tralongo…set personal best of 177-7 in javelin…was named Third Team All-State in the javelin….holds the Northern Highlands Regional High School Javelin Record with 177-7.

Personal: Born in Wildwood, Missouri…parents are Craig and Jennifer O’Connell…father played waterpolo at USC and Purdue…majoring in Aerospace Engineering.
