Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Athletics

2013: One of three Eagles to start all 41 games…started 27 times at catcher and 14 times at first base…earned All-Conference accolades…hit .358, second-best on the team…led the team in doubles (14), RBIs (41), total bases (73), slugging percentage (.593), walks (17) and sacrifice flies (7)...struck out just six times in 155 plate appearances…also tied for the team lead with five home runs…went 8-for-8 in stolen bases…hit the first grand slam in program history at Flagler (Feb. 2)…went 3-for-5 with a season-high two doubles and five RBIs at South Carolina Beaufort (April 7)…batted .353 (6-for-17) with four runs scored and four RBIs at the conference tournament.

Prep: Graduated from G. Holmes Braddock Senior High School in 2012…four-year letterwinner at GHBSHS where she played for Adanais Marcote, Cynthia Strauss, Jennifer Owens… a consistent .500 hitter throughout her high school career, batting .509 as a freshman, .512 with 30 RBI as a sophomore and .508 with 15 RBI and 15 runs scored in her junior season…posted a .604 batting average with four home runs and 25 RBI as a senior…garnered first team All-Dade County honors in each of her four seasons…first team All-State selection…second team All-Region…named All-State Defensive Player of the Year.
 
Personal: Born in Miami, Fla. on Nov. 29, 1993...daughter of Orlando and Barbara Espinosa…ERAU Softball’s first signee…majoring in Aeronautical Engineering...volunteered for the Women in Distress Charity Walk, the Youth Against Domestic Violence Fair and Teen Trendsetters, a program for tutoring elementary school kids.
