2025 (Junior): Earned All-SSC First-Team honors at first base…included on the SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll…named an NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete…the only Eagle to start all 47 games…ranked first in the SSC in double plays turned with a program-record 18…also ranked fourth in the league in putouts (308) and fifth in doubles (12)…ended the season with the 4th-most putouts (308), T-6th-most doubles (12), T-8th-most hits (54), and 9th-most RBI (30) in a season in program history…led the team with a .353 batting average… amassed a 14-game hitting streak, which tied for the third-longest by any Eagle ever…also contributed in the circle with nine relief appearances and one start with a 2.59 ERA…became just the 12th Eagle in program history to record four or more hits in a game (AUM, Feb. 7)…improved to 11-0 in her career as a pitcher with a win over Florida Southern (March 8)…notched 14 putouts against Florida Tech (April 4)…drove in what would be the winning run in the top of the 11th to help the Eagles upset No. 17 Nova Southeastern in the series opener (April 17)…went 2-for-3 with three RBI in game two to secure the series with a 5-2 win in extras.
2024 (Sophomore): Captured Second Team All-SSC honors at the utility/pitcher position…another impactful season as a two-way player saw her lead the team in opposing batting average (.227) and WHIP (1.12) and tie for the team lead in doubles (11) and triples (5)…played in 49 games, which tied for the sixth-most in program history, with 42 starts primarily in the outfield…slashed for .308/.354/.451 with 19 runs and 24 RBI…made 18 appearances and one start inside the circle…went undefeated on the year (6-0) and remained undefeated in her collegiate career (10-0)…struck out 13 batters over 36.2 innings…tallied four saves to tie the single-season program record…picked up 55 putouts and 14 assists in the field… started the season with a bang by going 3-for-3 with two doubles, one run and two RBI against Georgia Southeastern (Feb. 2)…began the year with a six-game hit streak (8-for-17) with five doubles and a home run…used a triple to drive in the game-winning run in a walk-off 3-2 win over Bridgeport (Feb. 28)…sent a pitch over the fence for a three-run home run in the first inning of a series-opening win against Florida Tech (March 28)…then scored the game-winning run to complete a three-run seventh-inning comeback against Lynn (April 6)…pitched five scoreless innings in a series upset of No. 25 Nova Southeastern (April 12-13).
2023 (Freshman): Named to the Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll…made an instant impact for the Eagles, showcasing herself as a dominant two-way player…hit .330 with 18 runs and 17 RBIs over 47 games played…started 34 contests at five different positions, the majority of which came in right field (22)…produced eight multi-hit and five multi-RBI outings…helped the Eagles break the team single-season stolen base program record with seven steals…made 16 appearances in the circle with two starts…possessed a 4-0 record with a 2.26 ERA over 34 innings…started her freshman campaign with a hit in five of her first six games…held a .989 fielding percentage, the highest on the squad by any fielder with 34 or more chances…used a three-run blast in the 1st inning to help the Eagles upset No. 4 Auburn-Montgomery (Feb. 11) 5-4…aided the Blue and Gold to another victory over a ranked opponent when she went 2-for-3 at the plate with two runs and an RBI in a 7-1 thrashing of No. 24 Wilmington (Feb. 28)…scored the game-winning run in an eight-inning win over Alderson Broaddus (Mar. 8)…received her first career start as pitcher in the next game against the Battlers (Mar. 10) in which she tossed 6.1 innings and allowed only two earned runs with a season-best two strikeouts…concluded the series versus Florida Tech (Mar. 25) a run and two RBIs in each game of the doubleheader…included a double and a triple in the series clincher…pieced together a five-game hit streak prior to the last series of the season (Apr. 22-28) that saw her average climb almost 40 points…included three-consecutive multi-hit performances...earned another start in the circle in the series finale at Eckerd (Apr. 28), throwing 4.2 shutout innings…prevented the opposition from scoring over her last 12.1 innings of work of the season and reduced her ERA by over a full point.
Prep: 2022 graduate of Matanzas High School…selected to the All-State Second Team…received All-Area First Team honors…aided the Pirates in capturing a district title in 2018…averaged .487 in her four years of varsity softball and recorded 85 runs, 53 RBI and 26 stolen bases…led Matanzas in batting average (.647), runs (37), RBI (17), doubles (8), triples (6), home runs (3) and stolen bases (16) in her senior season…also participated in volleyball.
Personal: Born in Ormond Beach, Florida…daughter of Shelly and Wes Wood…majoring in Aviation Business…volunteered at the Miracle League and Belle Terre Elementary School.
