Biography

As a Freshman in 2017: Started 47 games for the Blue and Gold…batted .220…scored five runs on 29 hits…hit four doubles and two triples…batted in 21 runs…broke season record for assists (112).

PREP: Graduated from South Sumter High School in 2016…named FACA All-Star in 2016…second Team All-State for 5A (2016)…batted with a .396 average in her senior season…had 36 hits with 29 RBIs…received Monteverde Academy Strength and Conditioning Award (2014).
 
PERSONAL: Born in Kissimmee, Florida…daughter of Sharman and Jeff Funk…overcame brain lesion that forced her to relearn motor skills on the left side of her body…a Business Administration major.
