2024 (Senior): Included on the SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll…hit .313 from the plate with three doubles over 41 games…drew 38 starts in the outfield…scored 15 runs and drove 12 Eagles in…stole four bases…recorded 59 putouts…ended the season on an eight-game hitting streak…came home on six occasions over the first four games, three of which came during a game against Chadron St. (Feb. 4) with two hits…singled to left to drive in the game-winning run in the ninth inning to upset #11 Wilmington (March 2)…was perfect from the dish (3-for-3) versus No. 25 Nova Southeastern on April 13.
2023 (Junior): Named to the Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll…served as the Eagles’ primary left fielder…played in 49 games…started 48, all in left field…hit .315 with 23 runs and 13 RBIs…stole 15 bases, tied for the 10th most in a single season in program history, to help ERAU break the single-season program record (87)…racked up a career-high three RBIs and two runs against Le Moyne (Feb. 24)…strung together an eight-game hitting streak (Feb. 23-28)…ended the series with No. 3 Tampa (Mar. 4) with a 3-for-4 performance with a run and two RBIs…became just the eighth Eagle to steal three bases in a game when she did so versus Alderson Broaddus (Mar. 10)…was unstoppable against Queens (Mar. 11), going 3-for-3 with a two doubles, one of which scored the game-winning run to cap off a four-run seventh-inning rally…later forced the winning run home for a walk-off win versus Florida Tech (Mar. 25)…posted her best series of the year at RV Nova Southeaster (Apr. 6-7) by going a combined 9-for-14.
2022 (Sophomore): Played in 18 games with nine starts, eight of which were in left field…hit .241 at the dish with four runs and three RBI…also swiped a bag…was perfect in the field, tallying 14 putouts and an assist…closed out the season on a three-game hitting streak…had one hit in seven of her last 10 contests.
Prep: 2020 graduate of Canyon High School…helped lead the Cougarettes to three consecutive district titles…also helped CHS to the Texas Region IV championship and the UIL Class 6A state semifinals in 2019.
Personal: Born in new Braunfels, Texas…parents are Michael Macchia and Sydni Mechler along with stepfather Ryan Melcher…majoring in Aeronautical Science.
