Laniere Coleman is in her first season as a graduate assistant to the Embry-Riddle women’s basketball program.
Coleman transferred to Embry-Riddle in 2015 after playing at Canisius for two seasons. Coleman immediately impacted the Eagle lineup as the starting center in 14 of her 17 appearances as a junior. She averaged 5.5 points, 5.55 boards and 2.6 blocks before suffering a season-ending injury midway through the year.
Her senior campaign saw the Lake Mary, Florida native reclaim her starting role at the start of the season, however, her season was cut short by injury once again, and she capped her collegiate career averaging 7.1 points, 4.3 boards and 1.2 blocks in 19 contests.
A two-time Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll selection, Coleman completed her undergraduate degree in Business Administration and is currently pursuing a Masters degree in the same discipline.
