• 2025 SSC All Freshman/Novice
2024-25 (Freshman): Named to the SSC All-Freshman/Novice team…an NCAA II national champion in eights and helped ERAU win the program’s first national title (May 30)…also captured an SSC championship (April 25) in eights to assist the Eagles in a fourth-consecutive conference crown…earned the program’s first medal of the season by finishing third at the Head of the Schuylkill (Oct. 26) in freshman eights…member of the SSC Boat of the Week (Varsity 8) that placed just 3.3 seconds back in a dual against NCAA I Jacksonville (March 1), the defending Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference champions…helped the Eagles’ Varsity eight shell win at the Stetson showdown (March 15), beating NCAA II foes Jacksonville and Stetson as well as No. 7 Rollins, Nova Southeastern, and NCAA III No. 2 Wesleyan to win SSC Boat of the Week honors again…took gold in varsity eight at the FIRA Championships (March 29) by nine seconds, a performance that was good enough to win SSC Boat of the Week for a third time…also won silver in varsity fours at that same regatta…the two medal-winning performances aided the Eagles in capturing a second-straight state title…rowed in the SSC Boat of the Week (Varsity 8) that placed fourth in the Petite Final at the Knecht Cup (April 12).
Prep: 2024 graduate of Highland Ridge Academy...named Most Inspirational Athlete in Spring of 2023…earned the 2022 Spring Fastest 2K award.
Personal: Born in Stuart, Florida…parents are Joe and Jennifer Retty…majoring in mechanical engineering…desires to earn a commission in the U.S. Navy to become a Naval Aviator…volunteered at the Midwest Community Food Bank, United Indian Missions International, and the Tim Tebow Foundation’s ‘Night to Shine’.
