2022-23 (Senior): Received D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award…Tabbed a CRCA Scholar-Athlete…earned a spot on the Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll…competed in 19 races, six of which were in Varsity 8, the SSC Co-Boat of the Year…gathered seven wins…earned a silver and a bronze medal…part of the SSC Boat of the Week two times…defeated defending MAAC champions Jacksonville (Oct. 29) in a dual in Eights (24:38.7)…started the spring with a pair of wins at Rollins (Mar. 4) and Barry (Mar. 11) in Varsity 4 and 8…bested the Buccaneers again in Eights (7:42.6) on March 25…grabbed a silver medal at the FIRA Championships (Apr. 1) in Eights (6:53.39), aiding the program to its third-straight top-2 placement in the overall standings at the event…assisted the Four boat in setting a program record time of 7:19.350 at the SIRA Championships (Apr. 15)…helped the Eagles repeat as SSC champions with a runner-up result in Fours (7:50.3) at the SSC Championship (Apr. 28)…earned bronze at the Dad Vail Regatta (May 13) in Fours (8:05.602)…competed at the NCAA II Championship (May 27) finishing sixth in Fours (8:33.663).
2021-22 (Junior): Received Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association Scholar-Athlete honors…earned the Division 2 Athletic Directors Association Academic Achievement Award…made it on the SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll for a third straight year…placed ninth overall in Fours at the Head of the Charles (Oct. 24) with a 19:56.787… grabbed a fourth-place result in Championship 4+ at the Head of the South (Nov. 13) with a 17:48.5…also finished in the same position in Championship 8+ (16:20.0)…earned a runner-up placement in Varsity 8 (6:47.9) and non-NCAA II Varsity 4 (7:55.3) at the Tars Regatta (March 5)…took second in two races in a double dual at Stetson (March 12) against Jacksonville (6:48.7) and the Hatters (6:51.3)…stopped the clock at 7:04.2 (2nd) in Varsity 8 and 7:57.4 in Open Varsity 4 (3rd) at Florida Tech (March 19)…helped the Eagles win an overall FIRA (April 2) title with a victory in Varsity 4 (7:30.20) and runner-up in Varsity 8 (6:44.55)…recorded an eighth-place finish in Varsity 8 (7:15.19) at SIRA (April 16)…assisted ERAU in claiming its first SSC Championship (April 22) by placing second in Varsity 8 (7:37.5)…picked up a bronze medal in Varsity 8 (6:40.555) at the Dad Vail Regatta (May 14)…fourth-place finish in Varsity 8 (7:16.699) at the NCAA II National Championship (May 28) aided the Eagles in placing third overall, the best national result in program history.
2020-21 (Sophomore): Included in the SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll…clocked in at 8:26.78 in the Varsity Four at the FIRA championship (April 3).
2019-20 (Freshman): Named to the SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll…placed seventh in ERAU’s “B” V4+ boat at the Hatter Invitational with a time of 13:46.8 on the 3200m course (Oct. 26)…also took third in the “A” V8+ boat at the same meet, clocking a time of 12:04.5 (Oct. 26)…helped the Freshman Novice 4+ boat to a win over Jacksonville University in 20:09.9 at the Head of the South (Nov. 9)…took fourth in the Championship 4+ race at the same regatta in 19:03.4 (Nov. 9)…defeated a pair of JU boats in the V4+ race at the Jacksonville Dual, winning the event in 8:25.9 (March 7)…subsequently earned SSC Boat of the Week honors on March 9 for the performance at the Jacksonville Dual.
Prep: Graduated from Marquette High School in 2019…two-time Missouri state champion in soccer.
Personal: Born in St. Louis, Missouri…daughter of Laurie and Andrew Schmidt…majoring in Homeland Security…works as an animal behavior specialist at the Halifax Humane Society…also is an emergency management technician at the Daytona Beach Police Department.
