2024-25 (Sophomore): Tabbed a CRCA Scholar-Athlete…included on the SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll…earned the program’s first medal of the season with a third-place result in freshman eights at the Head of the Schuylkill…took gold in JV eights as well as freshman/novice eights at the FIRA Championships (March 29)…the two victories aided the Eagles in capturing a second-straight state title... captured SSC Boat of the Week accolades in the varsity four shell that won a stacked Saturday final at the UCO Invite (April 5) against four ranked opponents…crowned an SSC champion with a win in fours at the conference championship (April 25), which aided ERAU in capturing its fourth-consecutive SSC title.
2023-24 (Freshman): Competed in five races…earned two medals including one gold…claimed a victory in JV Eights (7:16.09) and a bronze in F/N Fours (8:02.29) at the FIRA Championships (March 30) to help the Eagles win their fourth-straight state title.
Prep: May 2023 graduate of St. John the Baptist Diocesan High School…coached by Bryan Kwasnik...rowing team captain.
Personal: Born in Long Island, New York…daughter of Rob and Eva Avezzano…majoring in Meteorology and Aeronautical Science…desires to become a pilot for the United States Air Force...volunteer at Good Samaritan Hospital and with Junior Catholic Daughters of America
