Biography
As a Junior in 2014: Played 190 minutes in five games, starting one…allowed just two goals while registering seven saves…made a season-high three saves in a 5-0 win over Warner (Oct. 26).
As A Sophomore in 2013: Played 287 minutes over six games with one start in her return to the Eagle lineup…turned back four of the nine shots she faced and posted a 0.0 goals against average...notched a shutout with two saves against Warner in her only start of the year (Sept. 29).
As a Freshman in 2010: Played in 17 games as a freshman, 16 of which came as a starter in goal…played more than 1,419 minutes, accruing 66 saves and allowing just 19 goals…went 10-3-2 in 2010 with five shutouts…had a save percentage of .776 and a goals against average of 1.20…made eight saves against NCAA I Stetson (Aug. 26) in 90 minutes of action…also saved eight shots against Sun Conference opponent Northwood (Oct. 17)…played in the field in a 9-0 win over Ave Maria (Oct. 23), recording one assist.
Prep: Played soccer for the Raiders at Saint Thomas Aquinas High School under Coach Carlos Giron… Earned four letters before graduating in 2010… posted a .34 goals against average and was named a second team All-County selection by the Broward Sun-Sentinel and the Miami Herald as a junior…earned First Team All-County honors from the Broward Sun-Sentinel as a senior… named team Defensive MVP in 2010… ranked as the No. 2 Goalkeeper in the nation after allowing only one goal during her final season…maintained a 0.09 goals against average in 2010… also played four years of club soccer for the Plantation FC 91 under Johnny Ramos.
Personal: Born in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. on Aug. 15, 1991… parents are Thomas and Ann Grimes…completed her Bachelor's degree in Communication in May 2015….currently working toward her Master's in Business Administration...the women’s soccer team’s representative on the ERAU Student-Athlete Advisory Council.
