Biography
As A Junior in 2014: First team NSCAA/Continental Tire All-America selection…named to the NAIA All-America second team…also named first team All-Sun Conference…earned Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete recognition…appeared in all 21 games with 20 starts…posted a 19-2-0 record with eight shutouts…allowed just 13 goals while making 47 saves in 1,716 minutes of play…finished the year with a 0.68 goals against average and a .783 save percentage…made season-high eight saves in a 3-1 win at Embry-Riddle (Ariz.) on Aug. 31…registered a shutout in a 3-0 win over Hastings at the NAIA National Championship (Dec. 1).
As A Sophomore in 2013: Second team All-Conference selection…Academic All-Conference…recipient of a 2014-15 ERAU Champions of Character Scholarship…emerged as the Eagles’ primary netminder, starting in 20 of 21 contests…surrendered just 14 goals and collected 72 saves in 1,722 minutes of play…finished the season with seven shutouts and a 0.73 goals against average…registered a season-high seven saves against St. Thomas (Nov. 8).
As A Freshman in 2012: Provided depth at the goalkeeping position…played in five contests with one start…did not surrender a goal in 195 minutes of action…got a complete game shutout against Johnson & Wales on the road on Sept. 23.
Prep: Graduated from the Community School of Naples in 2012…four-year soccer letterwinner for coaches Eric Miles, Tom Gordon and Jenna Goldzak…recorded 11 shutouts in 17 contests as a senior…also scored five goals from the goalkeeping position…three-year team captain…2012 FACA Player of the Year…led the Seahawks to the 2012 District title…garnered All-State and team MVP honors…captained the Naples Shark club team from 2003-08…also lettered in golf and softball…two-year team captain and four-time All-Conference selection in golf…won the 2011 golf regional title…earned 2012 FACA Player of the Year honors in softball after leading CSN to district and regional titles and the State Final Four in 2011…Student Body President…Yearbook Editor.
Personal: Born in Naples, Fla. on Oct. 18, 1993…parents are Michael and Shirley Lynch…an Aeronautics major with minors in Flight, Homeland Security and Aeronautical Studies…volunteered with Meals on Wheels and Habitat for Humanity…member of the Army ROTC program…aspires to be a helicopter pilot for the Army.
