Biography
As A Junior in 2012: First team All-Conference selection…saw action in 17 contests, drawing starts in her last 14 appearances of the season…anchored the Embry-Riddle back line as a central defender…helped the Eagles to eight shutouts…got her only point of the year on an assist against Warner (Oct. 7).
As a Sophomore in 2011: Started in 17 games in the center of the Eagles’ defense despite being hampered by an injury…helped the Blue and Gold to nine shutouts on the year.
Prep: Graduated from Commercial College of Iceland in 2010 where she was a teammate of former Eagle Bjorg Olafs….played 10 seasons with the Keflavik club team…helped Keflavik to the National Cup final in 2008…honored three times as the league’s best defensive player in any age group…earned league MVP honors in 2006…recognized as the best player in the 17-19 age group.
Personal: Born in Keflavik, Iceland on May 9, 1990…parents are Gisli Eyjolfsson and Olafia Olafsdottir…pursuing a degree in Business Administration.
