Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Athletics

2019 (Senior): Sunshine State Conference All-Tournament team selection…played in all 20 contests…drew four starts…led the team with eight goals…24 of her 49 shots were on frame…scored twice in the Eagles’ season-opener against Columbus State (Sept. 7)…also had a two-goal performance against Eckerd (Oct. 12)…scored the game-winner against Barry (Oct. 5)…scored the tying goal and converted from the spot in the penalty shootout to help the down Rollins in the SSC Tournament finale (Nov. 17)…totaled three points with a goal and an assist in the Eagles’ win over Lee in the NCAA II South Region semifinal.

2018 (at Mississippi College): Named to the Gulf South Conference Academic Honor Roll…saw action in all 20 matches for the Choctaws…capped the season with 12 points on five goals and two assists…tied for the team lead in game-winning goals (20)…scored the game-winner against Barry (Nov. 11) to lead the Choctaws to the round of 16 in the 2018 NCAA II Tournament.
 
2016-17 (at Alcorn State): Played two seasons for the Lady Braves…garnered Southwestern Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year and Second Team All-Conference honors after tallying 18 points on a team-high eight goals and two assists in 2016…led the SWAC in goals per game (0.64) and points per game (1.43), and totaled a team-best 20 points on nine goals and two assists on the way to First Team All-SWAC honors in 2017…currently holds ASU’s top two single-season scoring marks and is second all-time in scoring with 17 career goals.
 
Prep: Graduated from Naze Secondary School in 2012…three-year soccer team captain.
 
Personal: Born in Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria…daughter of Florence Okoro…majoring in Cyber Security Engineering...plays for the Nigeria Senior Women’s National Team…volunteered a homeless shelters and as a tutor for kids.
