Laura Loht joined the Embry-Riddle coaching staff in 2021 to work primarily with the high jumpers and throwers. She is recognized as a USATF Level 1 Track & Field Coach.
Before joining the Eagles, Loht served as the Director of Operations for Penn State track & field/cross country from 2015 to 2021.
She was a track & field star for the Nittany Lions during her four-year career. She was a three-time First Team All-American in javelin and a four-time Big Ten medalist. Additionally, the 2013 and 2014 team captain helped Penn State capture one indoor and two outdoor conference titles.
The McClure, Pennsylvania, native graduated from Penn State with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology in 2014.
