Emily Paulson joined Embry-Riddle as assistant athletic trainer in the Fall of 2024. Paulson came to Embry-Riddle after five clinical rotations most recently in the spring of 2024 at Montverde Academy. During her time there she learned aquatic therapy, brain injury and concussion protocols and the development, implementation, and revision of a plan of care.

Paulson also did clinical rotations at Lake Highland Preparatory School Immersion, Orlando Sports Medicine Physical Therapy, University High School, and UCF Athletic Association Inc. Paulson has a wide range of knowledge regarding treating athletes, including managing and treating concussions, complete therapeutic and rehabilitative techniques, orthopedic evaluations, and on-field critical incident evaluation and immediate evaluation.

Paulson graduated from the University of West Florida with a Bachelor of Exercise Science in 2022 and from the University of Central Florida with a Master of Athletic Training in 2024. In addition to her master's program Paulson completed her capstone project on The Relationship of Personality Traits and Burnout Experience in Athletic Trainers who Have Left the Secondary School Setting.
