Kathryn Nagib joined the University as the Senior Director of Philanthropy for Athletics in October 2023.
Nagib is responsible for soliciting major gifts, annual and planned giving, cultivating and maintaining relationships with alumni, parents and friends of Embry-Riddle to raise significant philanthropic resources necessary to meet the Athletics Department's annual giving, capital and endowment needs.
A native of Orlando, Nagib came to Embry-Riddle with more than 10 years of experience managing fundraising strategies and donor relationships in the healthcare sector. In her roles as development manager and foundation manager at Halifax Health Foundation, she managed the foundation's fundraising strategy, events, partnerships and assets, and was engaged in community engagement and networking to build secure and retain local donors and partnerships.
Nagib was no stranger to Embry-Riddle Athletics having been involved in events such as the Blue & Gold Gala and Hoops & Heels luncheon. She has served on several local community boards, including Port Orange Community Trust, Vince Carter's Embassy of Hope Foundation, Girls Basketball Worldwide Foundation and Give Hope Foundation. She is the Vice Chair of GenIMPACT United Way of Volusia-Flagler Counties, and is on the Volusia Young Professionals and the Daytona Chamber of Commerce Equality, Diversity and Inclusion committees.
Nagib earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Central Florida. She completed her bachelor's in psychology in 2012 and her master's degree in non-profit management in 2016.
