Michael Harrison joined the Embry-Riddle athletics staff as the Compliance and Academic Enhancement Coordinator in the fall of 2018.
In his role, Harrison assists the University’s effort to comply with all NCAA II, Sunshine State Conference and Embry-Riddle University rules and regulations. He also aids in the development of programs that support student-athletes’ progress toward graduation.
Harrison comes to the athletic department after transitioning from his role as Senior Academic Evaluator in the Office of the Registrar. In his previous position, he served Embry-Riddle students by handling student concerns regarding class credits and graduation, evaluated transcripts and off-campus requests for preapproved courses for the re-admissions committee and helped transfer students transition smoothly to their new environment.
Prior to coming to ERAU, Harrison served as the IT Technical Support Specialist for Cinnaworks from 2004-08. At Cinnaworks, he provided tech support for 146 Cinnabon franchises while creating data reports for directors and field.
Harrison graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He currently resides in Daytona Beach, Fla.
