Isabella Rujano is the female athlete of the week after multiple well-rounded performances at the season-opening Bahama House Classic. The junior outside hitter recorded double-doubles in each of the three matches on the weekend to help Embry-Riddle volleyball go undefeated. On Sept. 6, the Orlando, Florida native produced back-to-back outings with 13 kills and 14 digs. Then against Flagler on Saturday, Rujano set a career high in kills with 21, five of which came during the Eagles’ final nine points of the fifth set. She also picked up 11 digs and three blocks.
