Nicholas Scarangelli was the best finisher for the Blue & Gold in the morning at the Sunshine State Conference Championship, taking home SSC Men's Cross Country Championship Team honors with his hard-run sixth-place finish in the 8K race (25:25.6), just three seconds off a top-five billing. It was a season-best by more than 25 seconds, and marked his fourth top-10 finish in four races this season.
