Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Athletics

Gary Ellington joined the Embry-Riddle staff in 2006 and works primarily with the sprint and jump events.

A two-year letterwinner in track and field and cross country at Bethune-Cookman, Ellington later served as an assistant coach of the track and field program from 1997-2006. He worked specifically with hurdlers, jumpers, throwers and sprinters.

Ellington has spent time as an assistant coach at Atlantic High School, where he was responsible for the training and conditioning of sprinters, hurdlers and jumpers. While at ERAU, he has coached six individuals to 10 All-American honors, and coached Crystal Bardge to three national titles.
