Kenny Scott joined the Embry-Riddle staff as a Volunteer Assistant Track and Field coach in August 2013. Scott graduated from Bethune-Cookman University with a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education. Scott has coached track & field at Mainland High School, Seabreeze High School and the AAU Supersonics track team.
Prior to his role at ERAU, Scott volunteered with the sports information department at B-CU and still plays an active role at B-CU volunteering as a mentor with the football team and the equipment manager. In his spare time, he and his son run the K2 Speed Camp and he volunteers at the police athletic league with track, basketball and baseball. Scott also works in the grounds department at Embry-Riddle.
