DELAND, Fla. ? Eleven members of the ERAU men's cross country team partook in the Hatter Invitational on Friday, Oct. 12, garnering sixth place.
ERAU's top runner was
Horacio Maysonet, who completed the course in 28:08 and finished 27th overall.
Alex Green crossed the finish line 23 seconds behind his teammate, clocking in at 28:31 and taking home 32nd place.
Kody Oakes, greg Leonard and
Richard Dudney also completed the course in less than 30 minutes for the Eagles, taking home 44th, 57th and 60th with times of 29:08, 29:22 and 29:49, respectively.
Chris Chidgey missed the 30-minute mark by slightly over 30 seconds, giving him 75th place with a time of 30:32.
Andrew Maro,
Dustin Shiver and
Austin Moore finished with times of 30:35, 31:29 and 32:07, respectively.
Jordan Wolfaardt finished in 97th at 32:07 while
Winston Jiminez rounded out the eleven with a 102 finish in 33:16.
The top team was UCF with all five of its runners finishing in the top 11. Ben Milroy Sr. from Xavier sped through the course in 25:48, making him the first runner to finish.
ERAU's top runners will be in action tomorrow at 1 p.m. in Kenosha, Wis. at the Lucian Rose Invitational.
