ASHLAND, Ore. –The Embry-Riddle women's volleyball team improved to 3-0 with a 3-0 sweep of Oregon Tech, Saturday at the Paul Elliot Invitational on the campus of Southern Oregon University. Senior
Abby Hall (11 kills) and junior
Jordan Holcomb (10 kills) combined for 21 of the Eagles' 38 kills, while newcomer
Nina Kontrec led all players with 17 digs and sophomore
Adriana Vazquez handed out a match-high 33 assists. Holcomb also led the way in service aces with six.
After the Eagles took the first set 25-19, the Hustlin' Owls made a run in the second frame and moved ahead 14-10. ERAU head coach

Taylor Martin service aces, helped the Eagles take the set 25-21.
The Eagle defense held Oregon Tech to a .174 hitting percentage in the third set. ERAU also hurt the Hustlin' Owls from the service line, totaling five of their 18 aces in that frame en route to a 25-16 win.
The Eagles close out tournament play against top-ranked Fresno Pacific at 3:30 p.m. (PDT ) on Saturday.
