The Eagles played solid defense in the first set, limiting the Buccaneers to a .143 attack percentage while siding out at 65 percent. A McKenna James kill put the Eagles ahead, 23-20, but Barry rallied to score three straight points and tie the set at 23-23. After a timeout called by Joslynn Gallop, Barry's Ivana Didanovic serve went long and Kat Espinosa's attack went wide, giving ERAU the set, 25-23.

Set two was a back-and-forth affair with 12 ties and five lead changes. Neither side led by more than two points until the very end when BU closed out the frame on a 3-1 run to win the set, 25-22.

Barry hit .562 in set three and sided out 12 out of 16 chances en route to a 25-15 win and a 2-1 lead in the match.

The Bucs' offense was very efficient in set four, siding out 86 percent of the time and hitting at a .704 clip, helping the visitors win the frame, 25-15, to clinch the match, 3-1.

The Eagles wrap up the home portion of the 2015 season tomorrow when they host No. 10 Palm Beach Atlantic at 4 p.m. Seniors Evelina Abdurakhmanova, Tamires Ferreira, Sumerr Paxton, Erika Hinel and Brendan Conway will be honored prior to the match.
