A 4-0 spurt in the first set gave Lynn a 12-9 advantage which would prove to be an insurmountable lead for ERAU. The Eagles got back to within a single point on a
Melanie Canfield kill that made it 20-19, but the Fighting Knights responded by scoring three straight points and five of the final six in the set, clinching a 25-20 win.
LU jumped out to a 5-1 lead in the second set, but the Blue and Gold quickly rallied with a 6-1 spurt, keyed by two kills each from Barbour and Jordan, helping push the Eagles ahead, 7-6. The lead would be short-lived, however, as the Fighting Knights went on a 6-2 run to move ahead, 12-9. After Lynn extended the margin to as many as five points (17-12), Embry-Riddle fought back to trim the deficit to 20-18. Much like the first set, LU responded by scoring three consecutive points and finished the frame on a 5-2 run to earn another 25-20 win.
Lynn got off to a strong start once again in the third set, opening up a 6-1 lead early and extending the advantage to 14-5, giving the home side a comfortable lead that would never be challenged. The Fighting Knights maintained at least a five-point lead for the rest of the set, taking the final frame 25-16 to finish off the 3-0 sweep.
