Embry-Riddle continued to increase the margin in the latter stages of the frame, pulling away for a 25-17 win to stay alive in the match.
In set four, the Argonauts once again started quickly, scoring six of the first seven points and taking a lead as large as 10-4 in the early going. After a timely Gallop timeout, Embry-Riddle rattled off six consecutive points, including three kills and a block from Schumacher, pulling even at 23-23. UWF stopped the run with a kill to earn a match point at 24-23, but Hartnett put down an important kill to tie it at 24.
