WINTER PARK, Fla. – The Embry-Riddle volleyball team made quick work of Rollins on Tuesday night, sweeping the Tars 25-16, 25-19, 25-17. With the win, ERAU improves to 15-2 overall, 7-2 in conference play, while Rollins falls to 3-13 overall, 0-9 in SSC play.
Cameron Gilleland led all players with 11 kills and added 11 digs to record her sixth double-double of the season.

Melanie Canfield each chipped in with five kills, with Lanning adding a match-high five blocks.
Emily Weaver tallied a match-leading 26 assists and
Tamzen Wilson collected a match-best 20 digs.
After Rollins scored the first point, Embry-Riddle answered with seven straight points, including back-to-back blocks from Lanning and
Amelia Hartnett. A 7-0 run expanded the lead to 16-4, and the Blue and Gold cruised to a 25-16 set win.
A 7-1 run in set two turned a 5-5 tie into a 12-6 advantage for the Eagles, and they didn't look back. The Tars had a late 4-0 run to get within five (23-18), but ERAU easily held on for a 25-19 victory to go up 2-0 in the match.
In the third set, Embry-Riddle used a 4-0 spurt to grab a 13-8 lead, and after Rollins scored the next two points, ERAU rattled off seven straight to create some separation, pulling out to a 20-10 lead. The Blue and Gold maintained a comfortable lead for the duration, clinching the sweep with a 25-17 set win.
The Eagles return home to host No. 12 Tampa on Friday, Oct. 15. First serve is slated for 7 p.m.
