@ERAUMGolf Wraps Up Season-Opening Saint Leo Invitational

DADE CITY, Florida - The Embry-Riddle men's golf team saved their best round for the third and final round of the Saint Leo Invitational, shooting a 293 for a three-round total of 894 (299-302-293).

The Eagles played the final five holes of the second round to start their Tuesday, finishing with a 302 as John Triplett's 73 led the way in the round. The Blue and Gold then played the final 18 at Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club, paced by Georgios Pachiadakis' 70.

Beau Coenraad fired his second 72 of the tournament in round three, followed by Panormitis (Michael) Karatzas's 75 and both Quinn Guzman and Triplett shooting 76 to close out the 54-hole event.

Pachiadakis was the low Eagle for the tournament, finishing with a 222 (77-75-70) on the back of 13 birdies. Guzman's 226 (73-77-76) was good for the second-lowest ERAU score with Coenraad's 227 (72-83-72) just one shot back and Triplett's 228 (79-73-76) and Karatzas' 229 (77-77-75) right behind.

Embry-Riddle finished 16th as a team as Lynn (833) won the 18-team event, followed by host Saint Leo (838), Keiser (846), Columbus State (846), Lee (850) and Barry (850) rounding out the top-five.

ERAU returns to action from March 8-9 when the Eagles travel to Lakeland for the Matlock Invitational, hosted by Florida Southern at the Lone Palm Golf Club.
