LARGO, Florida - The 2021 Embry-Riddle men's golf season came to a close on Tuesday as the Eagles placed ninth overall at the Sunshine State Conference Championship. Embry-Riddle shot a 309 in the third and final round of the par-72, 7,009-yard course at Bayou Club, totaling a 917 (303-305-309) over the tournament.
John Triplett put together a great tournament for the Blue and Gold, finishing in a tie for 15th overall with a 222 after a 73 on Tuesday. Triplett (77-72-73) is the highest finisher at the SSC Championship in ERAU program history.Â
Ian Aldarondo (73-75-79=227) was the second Eagle finisher, followed by
Quinn Guzman (79-79-77=235) and
Kaiser Hartmann (74-83-82=239) as scorers for ERAU.
Georgios Pachiadakis (84-79-80=23) also competed for Embry-Riddle.
NCAA II No. 3 Lynn (872) took the team crown, while Nova Southeastern (879), Saint Leo (882), Barry (886) and Tampa (887) rounded out the top five.
