Men's Soccer Loses 4-1 to Rollins

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Men's Soccer lost on Tuesday night, falling by a score of 4-1 to the Rollins Tars in a non-conference match.
Embry-Riddle (3-8-2) fell three goals behind and was unable to come back, as Rollins (7-3-3) held on win.
RC took the lead with the first goal of the match in the 35th minute, as they converted a rebound chance to go up 1-0.
The Tars then doubled the lead in the 44th minute, as their free kick found the back of the net 
Rollins took this lead into halftime, leading in shots seven to two and in shots on target by five to one. RC went up three in the second half, as a 69th minute goal from SSC-leading scorer Jorge Lameiras made it 3-0. ERAU made it a two-goal deficit shortly afterwards, with an incredible shot across the goal from the right foot of sophomore midfielder Tom Shepherd making the score 3-1.
Rollins restored its three-goal lead in the 82nd minute, going up 4-1 off a corner kick.
Rollins held on for the rest of the game, winning 4-1 to get its seventh win.
All in all, RC led the shots battle 14-6, and Salvatore della Valle made four saves in goal.
Embry-Riddle is back on the road as it will face Lynn for its final away game of the season. Kickoff on Saturday, Oct 28 at Bobby Campbell Stadium in Boca Raton, Florida is set for 6 p.m.
