HOW IT HAPPENED
First Quarter
• The Eagles jumped out a quick 6-0 lead, but the Sharks came back to go up 8-6.
• The Sharks had an 8-4 advantage on the offensive boards but only managed six second chance points.
• Embry-Riddle's defense limited the home team to just 17 percent (4-of-21) shooting in the first 10 minutes.
• A pair of made free throws by Jean-Louis at the 4:16 mark keyed a 10-0 run that included four of Satchell's eight first-quarter points.
• Heading into the second, Embry-Riddle led 16-11.

Second Quarter
• The Eagles were plagued by turnovers in the second quarter.
• The Eagles committed seven turnovers over the next seven minutes and the Sharks scored 10 points off those turnovers to take over the lead.
• The Sharks significantly improved on their shooting in the second period with a 69.2 percent (9-of-13) from the field and a 6-for-6 clip from the free throw line.
Mary Lengemann's layup at the 3:32 mark made it a one-point (24-23) game in favor of the Eagles, but the Sharks made five of their last five field goals and outscored the Eagles 12-5 in the final minutes to lead 38-26 at the half.

Third Quarter
.• The Eagle offense continued to struggle in the first half of the third period, scoring just four points in the first five minutes.
• A Kailyn Terrell three that increased the NSU lead to 15 (47-32) prompted ERAU head coach Lisa Wilson to call a timeout, which turned into a media timeout.
• Wilson found the magic words in that timeout as the Eagles erupted for an 11-0 run.
• After missing their first seven three-point attempts, the Eagles got a pair of treys from Jenna Teterycz as part of a 16-3 run in the last 4:47 that pulled the Eagles within two (50-48) heading into the fourth.

Fourth Quarter
• The Eagles kept their third-quarter momentum going in the fourth frame.
• Layups by Lengemann and Chandler Brooks, and a three by Jean-Louis gave the Eagles a five-point (55-50) lead, their first lead since early in the second quarter.
• Alana Ellis made a layup to cut the Eagle advantage to two (56-54) at the 7:19 mark, but a Jean-Louis layup triggered a 10-2 Eagle run that grew the lead to 10 (66-56).
• The Sharks forced Eagle miscues and controlled the offensive boards over the next minute and half, which allowed the home team to close the gap once again.
• NSU had a chance to make it two-point game, but Brooks came up with a big block to keep the Sharks from scoring.
• On their next possession, the Eagles got the ball to Sarah Napoli on the wing and the senior buried a three-pointer to make it a two-possession (69-62) game with 40 seconds left.
• The Sharks answered with a three of their own with 26 seconds left and elected to make Embry-Riddle earn the win at the charity stripe.
• Brooks and Napoli combined to hit five of the Eagles' last six free throws to secure the victory.
